Son Ye Jin also returned to the big screen last year with No Other Choice, marking her first film project in seven years. Directed by Park Chan-wook, the movie follows Yoo Man-su, a company employee whose seemingly perfect life is shattered after losing his job. In addition, Son Ye Jin has selected the Netflix series The Scandal as her next project. The story also follows Hui Yeon, a woman caught up in the consequences of their game.

The actress has also been cast in the Netflix series Variety. The project centers on Se Eun, the head of an entertainment company who creates South Korea’s top idol group, an obsessive fan named Seung Hee who follows them relentlessly, and the diverse desires of the people surrounding them.
