On June 16, a new video titled “A 1-Night, 2-Day Cool Summer Getaway in Gapyeong With Juna Tour Members Only Jung Jun-ha Could Gather” was uploaded to the YouTube channel of comedian Jung Jun-ha.
For the fifth season of “Juna Tour,” Jung invited several guests, including singer Junggigo, former Baby V.O.X members Lee Hee-jin and Shim Eun-jin, dancer couple J Black and Mary, traditional liquor sommelier Dr. Jeon Jin-a, and chef Myung Hyun-ji. Among the guests was Jin’s older brother, Kim Seok-jung, who took on the role of grilling meat during the gathering.
Introducing him, Jung Jun-ha said, “His younger brother is BTS’s Jin.” Viewers quickly noticed the resemblance between the siblings, with Kim Seok-jung sharing similar large eyes, facial contours, and even a smile reminiscent of the global superstar.
Kim Seok-jung is already a familiar figure among BTS fans. In 2020, Jin served as the master of ceremonies at his brother’s wedding, showcasing the close bond between the siblings. He also attracted attention last year following comments made on the KBS2 variety show Boss in the Mirror. Chef Bae Jae-hoon revealed that he had helped revive a restaurant operated by Jin’s older brother, stating that the establishment was generating approximately 300 million KRW (around $220,000 USD) in monthly sales.
The revelation attracted significant attention, with many expressing admiration for Kim Seok-jung’s success as an entrepreneur outside of the entertainment industry.
As BTS members continue their activities following military service, public curiosity about their personal lives and families remains strong. Kim Seok-jung’s latest appearance has given fans a rare glimpse into Jin’s family, while also highlighting his own achievements as a successful restaurateur.
