On June 1, Jeon Somi uploaded a vlog video to her social media account with the caption, “I tried my best to film on the last concert day.” The video offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at the lively atmosphere backstage during I.O.I’s concert.
One of the biggest highlights of the vlog was Kang Mina’s unexpected appearance. In the footage, Mina was seen relaxing comfortably on a sofa in the waiting room alongside Chungha on the final day of the concert. The natural and heartwarming interaction between the two immediately caught fans’ attention and sparked excitement among longtime supporters.

Adding to the buzz, photos uploaded on social media by acquaintances who attended the event also gained attention online. In the images, the I.O.I members could be seen warmly embracing Kang Mina while posing with bright smiles. The photos served as further evidence of the strong bond and teamwork that still exists among the members despite the years that have passed since their original activities.
I.O.I recently held their 10th anniversary concert at Jamsil Arena in Seoul from May 29 to May 31, celebrating a decade since their debut.
However, Kang Mina and Zhou Jieqiong (Kyulkyung) were unable to participate in the anniversary album and stage performances due to previously scheduled commitments. Their absence from the reunion activities disappointed many fans, and as the group was unable to perform with all members present, unverified rumors of discord among the members began circulating online.

As the malicious speculation spread, Kang Mina personally addressed the issue. Through a fan communication platform, she recently shared, “The members tell each other every day that they miss one another and congratulate each other. We practically send at least one message a day.”
She continued by criticizing the rumors directly, saying, “Why do people make life so exhausting with feud rumors and all that? Instead of doing that, please spend your time congratulating the members on their achievements.”

Mina did more than just deny the rumors with words she backed them up with actions. Despite her busy schedule, she personally attended the final day of the concert to support her fellow members. Her presence, captured both in Somi’s vlog and in photos shared by attendees, effectively silenced the unfounded rumors once and for all.
Meanwhile, I.O.I was formed through Mnet’s survival program Produce 101 in 2016. The group enjoyed massive nationwide popularity with hit songs such as “Very Very Very” and “Dream Girls.” Following the conclusion of their project contract in 2017, the members pursued individual careers in music, acting, and entertainment. Earlier this year, the group delighted fans by announcing a special reunion to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut.
