BTS member Jimin has captured fans’ attention once again following the release of a behind-the-scenes video from the group’s official visit to Mexico’s National Palace.
On BTS’ official YouTube channel BANGTANTV, the group shared a video titled “BTS Visits Mexico’s National Palace,” offering fans a closer look at their visit on May 7. The trip took place at the official invitation of Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.
In the video, Jimin appeared in a stylish suit paired with long blond hair, drawing praise for his elegant visuals. Throughout the visit, he listened attentively as guides introduced the history and significance of the National Palace, maintaining a calm and respectful attitude.
One of the most memorable moments came when Jimin stepped onto the palace balcony overlooking the famous Zócalo square. Looking out at the massive crowd of approximately 50,000 fans gathered below, he could not hide his amazement.

“Wow, this is crazy,” Jimin exclaimed before enthusiastically waving to fans who had filled the plaza to catch a glimpse of BTS.
The singer also helped create a friendly atmosphere during the visit. At one point, he suggested taking a photo together with President Claudia Sheinbaum, further showcasing his approachable personality.
Fans were particularly impressed by Jimin’s thoughtful manners throughout the event. While accompanying the Mexican president, he carefully matched her walking pace and listened attentively during conversations, displaying the considerate behavior for which he is often praised.
Another heartwarming moment occurred when Jimin spotted one of the cats living at the National Palace. Breaking into a bright smile, he excitedly pointed toward the animal and said, “Ah! There it is,” while clapping his hands with delight.

As the visit came to an end, Jimin bid farewell in Spanish, warmly saying, “Muchas gracias,” earning even more admiration from local fans.
Following their activities in Mexico, BTS continued their schedule with a stop at Stanford before heading to Las Vegas for a series of performances. After completing their concert on May 29 local time, the group is expected to return to South Korea to participate in a special concert celebrating the 12th anniversary of their debut in Busan.
