According to Korean media reports, a netizen recently uploaded photos and posts to social media claiming they unexpectedly encountered Danielle speaking publicly while holding a microphone at what appeared to be a church-related gathering.
The poster reportedly wrote: “My dad asked, ‘Isn’t that the NewJeans member you like?’ Yes, it’s our NewJeans Danielle.”
In the photos, Danielle appeared wearing a sky-blue cap while standing on stage and addressing attendees. However, the exact content of her speech was not disclosed.
The appearance particularly attracted attention because Danielle has remained relatively low-profile since becoming involved in the highly publicized legal dispute with ADOR.
Reports noted that Danielle has frequently appeared at church gatherings throughout the ongoing controversy and has continued interacting warmly with attendees, including taking photos with believers despite the legal tensions surrounding her career.
Last December, ADOR reportedly filed a damages lawsuit worth approximately 43.1 billion won against Danielle, her family members, and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.
The agency also terminated Danielle’s exclusive contract, claiming she and her family were responsible for triggering the conflict.
The first court hearing between Danielle and ADOR took place on April 14.
During the hearing, Danielle’s legal team argued that ADOR intentionally singled her out among the former NewJeans members by terminating only her contract and filing an enormous damages claim.
Her side further claimed the lawsuit was being used to pressure the remaining members into cooperation by creating fear of similar legal retaliation.
Meanwhile, reports state that former NewJeans members Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni have returned to ADOR, while Minji is reportedly engaged in positive discussions regarding a possible return.
