Chinese Gen Z actors Qin Niuzhengwei and Kong Yuhao have become the center of a major entertainment scandal, as their once fairytale romance spirals into a bitter financial dispute following their canceled wedding.
According to reports from Sohu on March 25, the couple—who began dating in September 2022—appeared to be heading toward marriage after a lavish engagement ceremony in July 2023. The event drew attention for its extravagant scale, with Qin Niuzhengwei making a dramatic entrance on an aerial swing and receiving a massive diamond ring from Kong Yuhao. The two even announced plans for a destination wedding in Bali, raising expectations of a glamorous celebrity union.
