A recent security breach involving NewJeans members Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni has left fans deeply alarmed, as alleged CCTV footage of the trio leaked online and quickly spread across social media and online communities.

On February 28 (KST), clips surfaced showing the three members inside a dance studio, reportedly rehearsing choreography. According to circulating claims, the footage was first shared by a Korea-based account and included scenes from multiple practice locations, including a dance studio in London. Because the members appeared to be actively practicing, speculation rapidly grew that NewJeans might be preparing for a three-member comeback without Danielle and Minji. However, these reports remain unconfirmed.

While comeback rumors gained traction, many fans focused instead on what they described as a serious invasion of privacy. Photos and alleged location details of the members in London also reportedly spread online, further heightening concerns about their safety. Fans contacted the dance studio believed to be connected to the leaked CCTV footage, demanding clarification.

According to emails shared publicly by fans, the studio denied any involvement in the leak and expressed that they were “extremely shocked and outraged” by the situation. In a statement circulated online, the studio emphasized that the footage did not originate from their team and confirmed that the individual responsible for illegally sharing the video had been “formally identified and reported to the police.” The studio also stated that it had filed a complaint with UK authorities and would pursue strict legal action.

The fact that the account allegedly responsible for distributing the footage is based in South Korea has fueled renewed speculation and conspiracy theories online, including unverified accusations aimed at personnel connected to HYBE. Some netizens even suggested that the leak may have been intentional to divert public attention from former Min Hee-jin CEO’s recent legal victory against HYBE. However, there is currently no evidence supporting these claims.

The incident has also triggered backlash toward ADOR, with critics accusing the agency of failing to adequately protect the members’ privacy and safety. Many fans have expressed frustration that neither ADOR nor HYBE has released an official statement addressing the alleged breach or outlining legal measures being taken.

Although many posts containing the footage have since been removed, the controversy continues to stir debate. Meanwhile, Hanni, Hyein, and Haerin are reportedly confirmed to have returned to ADOR, while Minji’s position remains unclear, further complicating the group’s situation. With the lineup appearing fragmented and no official clarification about a comeback, NewJeans’ future under ADOR remains uncertain.

As the situation continues to unfold, fans are urging others not to spread unverified content and to respect the members’ privacy and safety. Until official confirmation is provided, rumors of a three-member comeback remain speculation fueled by unverified online leaks.
