On February 12, the agency released a statement regarding the group’s future activities. According to WakeOne, five members — Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, and Park Gunwook — have decided to continue together under the name ZEROBASEONE.
The agency stated:
“The five members, Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, and Park Gunwook, have decided to open a new chapter together as ZEROBASEONE, based on mutual trust.”
Meanwhile, four members — Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, and Han Yujin — will be departing the group after completing their originally planned project period.
WakeOne explained:
“The four members Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, and Han Yujin have completed their designated project period and will now prepare for new steps forward. We sincerely wish them the very best in their future endeavors and ask fans to continue giving unwavering support and encouragement to the members embarking on new paths.”
With this announcement, ZEROBASEONE will move forward as a five-member group, marking a new phase in their career. Fans are now turning their attention to both the group’s next activities and the individual futures of the departing members.
