TV personality Park Na-rae is currently embroiled in a wave of controversies, including allegations of abuse of power, illegal medical treatments, embezzlement, and operating an unregistered agency. As one of South Korea’s most prominent variety show stars, past comments she made on air are now being unearthed, with her lifestyle and personal routines becoming a focal point of public criticism.
A key remark resurfaced from an episode of LG U+ Mobile TV’s “Let’s Be Comfortable” Season 3, aired in June last year. During the episode, where singer Kim Junsu appeared as a guest, Park Na-rae candidly revealed her unique way of managing her schedule. She stated, “Once I get my weekly schedule, I ask for the full list right away because I need to plan my appointments around it.”

Startled, Kim Junsu asked if she planned her social gatherings in advance. Park replied with confidence, “My agency always tells me, ‘Na-rae, please just rest on your days off.’ But meeting people and drinking is how I relax, so I tell them not to say that to me.” She emphasized her love for social drinking, even if it means being tired on rest days.
Given the timing of these remarks resurfacing coinciding with a series of scandals many online users criticized her behavior as a warning sign long ignored. Comments such as “Her managers must have gone through hell,” “Did they have to manage even her private drinking events?” and “This was inevitable” flooded online forums.
Former managers of Park Na-rae have come forward with alarming allegations. They claim that during their 1.5-year tenure, they were forced to be on standby 24/7 and had to handle everything from organizing her private drinking sessions to managing clean-up. In some instances, Park reportedly hurled verbal abuse, saying things like, “Why are you working like sh*t?” and “Do you want to get scolded?”

The situation has escalated further with these former staff members hinting at even more serious revelations, particularly related to alleged illegal medical procedures involving a so-called “injection aunt.” They claim the issues now in the spotlight are “just one out of a hundred,” and they plan to release more detailed evidence.
As the scandals continue to unfold, public sentiment has largely turned against Park Na-rae, with many questioning whether her past actions and lifestyle were warning signs that went unchecked for far too long.
