Dressed in a soft pink gown, the idol-actress posed alongside her pets, who wore matching formal outfits, creating a charming and celebratory atmosphere.
The second image in the photoset carried the biggest surprise. In the caption, Matsumura announced that she would be getting married and had also “gained a precious life,” revealing both her engagement and pregnancy at the same time.
Reports state that her husband is a company employee several years older than her, working at a firm based in Tokyo. The couple is said to have dated for about two years before deciding to marry. Her pregnancy has already reached the stable stage typically past the 12-week mark where risks lower significantly and symptoms begin to ease.
Matsumura first debuted in 2012 as a first-generation member of Nogizaka46, one of Japan’s most successful idol groups. After graduating in 2021, she continued to build a successful solo career, taking on a variety of entertainment, acting, and modeling projects.
