On November 27, the Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Agreement Division 31, led by Judge Nam In-soo, held the third hearing in the ongoing lawsuit between Min Hee-jin and HYBE, centered on a shareholder agreement termination and Min’s put option request.
Appearing in court for direct examination, Min addressed the controversy, stating, “I never pushed Hanni to attend the National Assembly hearing.”

The speculation stems from an incident in 2024 when Hanni revealed during a YouTube livestream that she was told by another artist’s manager to “ignore” her. This led NewJeans fans to file a formal complaint with the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Subsequently, Hanni voluntarily appeared before the National Assembly’s Environment and Labor Committee in October 2024 as a witness, where she shared her personal experiences of mistreatment.
Min strongly rejected claims of manipulation, stating, “The NewJeans members are incredibly smart and capable of sound judgment. They’re not the type to blindly follow anyone’s orders.” She added, “I actually felt sorry that Hanni had to go alone and even considered accompanying her. I wish people wouldn’t treat them like they’re naive or clueless.”

Currently, ADOR has officially announced the return of members Hyein and Haerin, while arranging discussions with Minji, Danielle, and Hanni. Meanwhile, Min Hee-jin has launched a new label named OOAK, signaling her next chapter in the K-pop industry.
