Actor Jung Woo Sung made a notable appearance in Hong Kong at the Disney+ Originals Preview 2025, held on November 13 at the Cinderella Ballroom of the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel Conference Center. The event showcased upcoming Disney+ content for the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
Joining Hyun Bin, Woo Do Hwan, and director Woo Min Ho, Jung introduced their new series Made in Korea. The drama explores the ambitions of a man chasing wealth and power, and the prosecutor who sacrifices everything to stop him set against the turbulent backdrop of a shifting era.

This marks Jung Woo Sung’s first public project since two major personal revelations: his legal marriage to a non-celebrity, and the news that he is the biological father of model Moon Ga Bi’s son, which surfaced last year. His participation in the project is drawing attention as it symbolizes both a personal and professional transition.
Appearing visibly leaner and with a grown beard, Jung drew attention with his changed appearance. Speaking about working with Hyun Bin and Woo Do Hwan, he said, “Creating new connections through new projects is a rare and valuable experience among actors. I’m happy to be working alongside these talented colleagues.”

Regarding his character in Made in Korea, Jung shared, “I initially thought this role didn’t suit me. I felt it was meant for someone more energetic. But after reading the script and hearing the director’s vision, I decided to take the leap.”
Disney+ Originals Preview 2025 featured entertainment lineups from South Korea, Japan, and other APAC countries. The global event gathered over 400 media representatives and top stars from South Korea, the U.S., Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Australia, Mexico, and Brazil.
