On November 9, Tzuyang uploaded a video titled “100 Menu Items? How Much Did I Eat at a Comic Café?” on her YouTube channel. In the vlog, while eating snacks in the car, she candidly discussed the condition of her teeth.
When a friend expressed surprise at how easily she could chew sticky snacks, saying, “Your teeth must still be strong,” Tzuyang cheekily replied, “Can’t you do this with your teeth?” Her friend admitted they wouldn’t dare to bite that hard.

Tzuyang then surprised viewers by saying, “These are fake,” pointing to her front teeth. She explained, “I’ve eaten so much over the years that my teeth wore down and got shorter. I was told it’s better to get treatment early, so I did. If they wear down too much, you end up having to grind them even more later.”

She added that there had been previous mukbang videos filmed while she still had temporary teeth, during which people left comments like “Did you get your teeth done?” Tzuyang clarified, “It wasn’t for cosmetic reasons at all. It was purely for health. I had them restored to look exactly like my original teeth, just slightly longer.”
Emphasizing the importance of oral care, she continued, “As you get older, you often have to grind down your teeth more, and if the base becomes too narrow, they can even fall out.”

Since launching her mukbang career in 2018, Tzuyang has become one of Korea’s most popular eating show creators, boasting over 12.7 million subscribers on her main channel and 580,000 subscribers on her secondary one. Beyond food content, she has recently expanded her career by launching a clothing brand, participating in charity work, and venturing into lifestyle and fashion projects.
Her honesty about the toll of mukbang on her health has sparked widespread discussion among fans, who praised her for prioritizing wellbeing over appearance.
