A shocking case involving a 30-something gaming YouTuber with over 1 million subscribers unfolded in Korea when the creator, identified as Mr. B, was kidnapped and assaulted by two men over an unresolved debt. Fortunately, due to his foresight in alerting police before the encounter, he was safely rescued just four hours after the abduction.

According to the Incheon Yeonsu Police, two men in their 20s and 30s, including a suspect referred to as Mr. A, allegedly lured Mr. B to an underground parking lot in Songdo, Incheon, at around 10:40 p.m. on October 26, under the pretense of repaying a debt of approximately ₩250 million KRW (roughly $184,000 USD).

However, once B arrived, he was ambushed and violently beaten with blunt objects that the suspects had prepared in advance. The attackers then forced him into their vehicle and fled toward Geumsan County in South Chungcheong Province, nearly 200 kilometers away.

Unbeknownst to the suspects, Mr. B had sensed danger and filed a report with the police before the meeting. Using CCTV footage from the parking garage, authorities quickly identified the getaway vehicle and began tracking it in real-time.

At 2:30 a.m. on October 27, just four hours after the incident began, police successfully located and apprehended the suspects in Geumsan. Mr. B was rescued from the vehicle, having sustained severe facial injuries but was reported to be in stable condition with no life-threatening harm.

During police questioning, Mr. B stated that he believed the attackers owed him money, adding another layer of complexity to the financial dispute behind the crime.

Authorities are continuing their investigation and plan to request arrest warrants for the two suspects once the initial inquiry is complete.
