Held on October 25 at Ewha Womans University Grand Auditorium, “2025 SONG JOONG KI FANMEETING – Stay Happy” marked Song Joong-ki’s first fan meeting in seven years. The emotional gathering allowed the star to reconnect with fans who’ve supported him throughout his career.

Just when the event seemed to be reaching its peak, the crowd erupted as Kim Ji-won made an unexpected appearance on stage. Dressed in a cozy beige knit sweater and light-wash jeans, she exuded warmth and casual charm.
Introducing herself, she joked, “I’m Kim Ji-won, a junior of Song Joong-ki. I just came because I felt like it.”
A visibly startled Song Joong-ki reacted with surprise: “I was wondering who was talking — what are you doing here?”
To which Kim Ji-won playfully replied, “I was watching from the back ever since you got emotional while singing.”

The moment became even more memorable when Song Joong-ki, caught off guard, accidentally introduced her as “Park Ji-won” before correcting himself — drawing laughter from the audience.
Kim Ji-won also praised Song Joong-ki during the event, describing him as a considerate but understated individual: “He’s the type who doesn’t show off, even to his fans. He’s warm but in a subtle way. Even though he doesn’t contact me often, if I have worries, he somehow senses it and calls to ask first. He’s a dependable senior.”
She also reminisced about Arthdal Chronicles, sharing that Song Joong-ki often treated the cast to meals and checked in with everyone after long shoots, displaying his thoughtful nature.
In response, Song Joong-ki praised Kim Ji-won’s honesty and dedication: “Her characters require attention, and sometimes I worry. When she calls me with concerns, she’s always straightforward, which I appreciate. That’s why I can share my experiences openly with her.”
Fans at the event expressed hope that Song Joong-ki might appear in Kim Ji-won’s upcoming SBS drama Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia. Song Joong-ki responded warmly: “We’ve done cameos before, but if Ji-won is okay with it, I’d love to work together again. It’s rare for actors to meet across multiple projects, so I see it as fate. I’ll sincerely try to make it happen.”
The two stars reminisced about their past collaborations, including KBS2’s Descendants of the Sun and tvN’s Arthdal Chronicles. Song Jong Ki even made a cameo in Kim Ji-won’s recent hit drama Queen of Tears, further highlighting their enduring professional relationship.

Since 2022, both actors have been under the same agency, HighZium Studio , bringing them even closer as colleagues.

Kim Ji-won explained, “I came here just to bring a little fun,” before sharing anecdotes about their time on set, including memories of their characters Eunseom and Tanya from Arthdal Chronicles.
The heartfelt moment between the two stars reminded fans why their chemistry — both on and off-screen — continues to captivate audiences.
