On October 22, Haewon appeared in a new episode of YouTube channel Workman, titled “JOB Things! Oh Haewon Is Here!! | Manual Labor · NMIXX · Haewon · Uhm Tae Goo · Blue Valentine.” In the video, she joined actor Uhm Tae Goo to pack NMIXX albums while engaging in a heartfelt and humorous conversation.
During the episode, Haewon revealed that while she enjoys praise for her talents, compliments about her looks make her feel uncomfortable. “I love receiving compliments like ‘You sing well,’ ‘Your stage presence is great,’ or ‘You’re a good host.’ I can take those well,” she explained. “But when someone says I’m pretty, I just don’t know how to react.”
Uhm Tae Goo, who confessed he feels similarly about compliments, reassured her warmly, saying, “You don’t need to worry. I think all of those compliments are completely true.” His shy but sincere comment drew laughter and appreciation from viewers.

Haewon also admitted she struggles with controlling her facial expressions during variety show appearances: “I tend to make really raw expressions without thinking. I want to match my face to the situation or angle in a prettier way, but I end up just showing my real reactions.”
In response, Uhm Tae Goo offered a simple yet genuine piece of advice: “That’s what makes you more likable. You don’t need to force yourself to look pretty.” His words clearly touched Haewon, who smiled appreciatively.

Meanwhile, Haewon and her group NMIXX recently released their first full-length album, Blue Valentine, on October 13. The title track has been topping major domestic charts and gaining momentum across both streaming and physical sales platforms.
Haewon’s honesty resonated with fans, reminding many why she’s loved not only for her talent but also for her sincerity and relatability.
