Hollywood star Emma Stone (36) dazzled at the New York premiere of Bugonia, turning heads in an ethereal Louis Vuitton gown. Yet, her appearance also reignited a wave of fan speculation, with many questioning whether the actress had undergone cosmetic procedures.
According to Daily Mail on October 22 (local time), Emma Stone appeared at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) on October 21 for the premiere of Bugonia. She wore a see-through white Louis Vuitton gown with gray stitching that emphasized her upper body while flowing into a voluminous skirt.
The actress completed her look with a naturally flushed makeup palette, striking blue eyes, and a noticeably tight, lifted facial line that drew attention. Her hair was styled into a sleek updo with curtain bangs that further highlighted her sharp facial features.

She was joined on the red carpet by Alicia Silverstone, Lily Sheen, and Jesse Plemons, while her husband, director Dave McCary, attended the event but did not pose on the red carpet.
The latest round of “new face” rumors first flared last month after Emma appeared at Paris Fashion Week alongside BLACKPINK’s Lisa. Fans were quick to note her defined features and unusually smooth skin, sparking discussions online.
Later appearances, including at the London premiere, further fueled the conversation, with social media users commenting, “Her skin looks botox-tight” and “Her expressions seem less natural than before.”

Despite ongoing speculation, Emma Stone has made no official statement regarding the rumors. A plastic surgery specialist interviewed by foreign media suggested, “Good skincare and lighting alone can create a drastically different appearance,” offering a more cautious interpretation.
Bugonia marks Emma Stone’s third collaboration with acclaimed director Yorgos Lanthimos, following their critically acclaimed work in The Favourite and Poor Things.
The film is an English-language remake of the 2003 South Korean film Save the Green Planet! by director Jang Joon-hwan. It follows two men who kidnap a CEO they believe is an alien plotting to destroy Earth—an eccentric blend of sci-fi satire and dark comedy. Stone plays the mysterious CEO, Michelle Fuller.
Bugonia is slated for North American release on October 31, aligning with Halloween.
