While many idol groups appear close-knit to the public, behind the scenes some members have exposed troubling conflicts. From physical altercations to bullying and even sexual harassment, these revelations have left fans stunned and questioning the dynamics of their favorite groups.
One high-profile case was former n.SSign member Eddie, who left the group in 2024 and later revealed that the members were not the “family” they pretended to be. His departure, along with others, was officially attributed to health issues, but his candid remarks hinted at deeper internal conflicts.

In another instance, Plan B’s Roy openly accused fellow member Han (now Wangseok) of physically assaulting him, even forcing him to seek medical treatment for a possible bone fracture. Roy further revealed that the group’s activities halted after two members left to join another group without warning. More disturbingly, Wangseok was also accused of sexually harassing another member so severely that he decided to quit.

Meanwhile, Lucy from WOOAH faced backlash when private messages allegedly showed her speaking negatively about her members, calling them “fake,” expressing dislike for fans, and even wishing for the group to disband.

One of the most infamous cases remains former AOA member Mina, who revealed years of alleged bullying by then-leader Jimin. Mina claimed this mistreatment drove her to attempt suicide. She also accused Jimin of inappropriate behavior, including bringing a man to the dorm for sex, while criticizing the other members for staying silent as bystanders.

These shocking disclosures highlight the darker side of idol life, far from the polished image projected on stage. Fans continue to debate whether agencies should do more to address toxic group dynamics before they escalate into public scandals.
