Korean comedian Nam Chang-hee has officially announced his plans to get married next year.

During the latest episode of Pinggyego, a YouTube talk series on the DdeunDdeun channel featuring Yoo Jae-suk, Cha Tae-hyun, and Yoo Yeon-seok, Nam Chang-hee made the surprise declaration.

When asked about his relationship status, the comedian replied confidently: “I’ll go for it next year I promise. Many people have been asking if I’m really getting married, so I’ll say it clearly: I am.”

Nam Chang-hee previously revealed in July 2024 that he was dating a non-celebrity girlfriend.

After his announcement, Yoo Jae-suk jokingly asked, “Did your girlfriend agree to you saying this publicly?” Nam Chang-hee laughed and admitted, “I’ll have to go home and talk to her about it.”

Yoo Jae-suk then added with a smile, “I’ve never met her in person, but I’ve heard she’s very beautiful. Everyone says so.”

Nam Chang-hee replied humorously, “HaHa said that too! He hasn’t even met her — he claims he saw her more than ten years ago and still insists she’s pretty.”

The lighthearted exchange quickly spread across online communities, with fans and colleagues sending congratulatory messages to the comedian.

Known for his quick wit and longstanding collaborations with top Korean entertainers like Yoo Jae-suk and Park Myung-soo, Nam Chang-hee has built a solid reputation in the comedy and variety scene.

With his wedding now confirmed for 2026, fans are looking forward to seeing a new chapter in his life — one filled with both laughter and love.
