Singer Kim Jong-kook has shared his honest thoughts on becoming a father, just days after surprising the public with news of his marriage.
On the September 14 broadcast of SBS variety show My Little Old Boy, the newlywed sat down with fellow cast members Kim Hee-chul and Kim Dong-hyun to talk about life after his top-secret wedding.
When Kim Dong-hyun teased that marriage usually means baby plans right away, Kim Jong-kook admitted with a smile, “Of course, I have to start right away — I’m not getting any younger.” He added that he and his wife agreed it would be best to have just one child. “As long as we’re blessed with a healthy baby, I’ll be grateful,” he said.
The singer then surprised everyone by revealing the results of a recent fertility check-up, sharing that he had “over 200 million sperm.” However, the room burst into laughter when Kim Dong-hyun revealed his own results were even higher. To save face, Kim Jong-kook proudly pointed out his testosterone level of 9.98, which gave him the win in another category.
