Originally debuting in 2015 as part of the short-lived hip-hop duo 1Punch alongside Samuel Kim, One quickly drew attention through Show Me The Money 4. His rising popularity continued with Show Me The Money 5, where he released “Comfortable” in collaboration with Simon D and Gray, a track that went on to dominate charts.

Recognizing his potential, YG Entertainment signed One, leading to his solo debut in 2017. Beyond music, he expanded into acting and became a panel member on the reality program Heart Signal. However, in 2019 he left YG and independently released a solo album that November. Shortly afterward, he vanished from the public eye, deleting his Instagram account and ceasing all updates.
Speculation about his whereabouts reignited after BLACKPINK’s Lisa released Dream, with some fans wondering if the lyrics referenced him. Now, a viral post has claimed One is permanently living in the United States and preparing for marriage.
The post sparked shock and curiosity online, with comments ranging from disbelief to support:
“As long as he’s alive and happy, that’s all that matters.”
“So that’s why he disappeared! Wishing him the best.”
While unverified, the rumors have once again placed One at the center of online discussion. Fans remain hopeful that wherever he is, he’s living safely and happily — and perhaps may one day return to the stage.
