On September 3, the investigative program released a teaser for its upcoming episode, featuring shocking testimonies from individuals who claim to have been victims of school violence at the hands of Song Ha-yoon. The preview was captioned, “A Confession After 21 Years — The Truth Behind Song Ha-yoon’s School Violence Controversy?”

A male informant made a chilling claim: “She was a devil. She would say, ‘Hey, I won’t hit you anymore,’ and then hit again. She never once said sorry.” Another alleged victim added: “At the time, the atmosphere was that if a senior hit you, you just had to take it. I ended up with an injury requiring three weeks of recovery.”

When the “Curious Stories Y” team reached out to Song Ha-yoon’s legal team for comment, the only response they received was: “It’s difficult to respond. Please leave.”

The controversy surrounding Song Ha-yoon isn’t new. In 2024, an individual identified as “A” appeared on JTBC’s “Case Chief,” claiming that Song was forcibly transferred from Banpo High School due to repeated bullying behavior. In turn, Song denied all allegations, explaining the school transfer was related to her early entertainment career and filed a criminal complaint against A for defamation, intimidation, and obstruction of business.

Following this, A, who had been residing in the United States, returned to Korea and prepared a damages lawsuit worth 10 billion KRW (approximately 7.1 million USD), citing mental anguish and defamation. He also claimed to have official documents confirming Song’s school transfer due to her misconduct and further alleged that she assaulted him for over an hour and a half.

With these new allegations and testimonies surfacing, public attention is turning to whether SBS will unveil evidence that could finally confirm or debunk the controversy. The episode of “Curious Stories Y” will air on September 5 at 9 PM (KST) and is expected to feature interviews, documents, and possibly new revelations.
