On September 1, the YouTube channel “Zzanbro Shin Dong-yup” uploaded an episode titled “Kim Kap-soo {Zzanbro} EP.108”. Toward the end, a 50-second preview was shown featuring Lee Young-ae as the next guest.
During the preview, Jung Ho-chul humorously described Lee Young-ae’s daily routine using brands she once advertised, saying, “She wakes up and washes with Sei soap, shampoos with Elastine, greets the water-purifier lady, and heads out with her LG Card.”
When Shin Dong-yup asked, “You did a soju ad too?” Lee revealed, “I was the first female model for soju,” surprising everyone.
Since Zzanbro is a web variety show that incorporates drinking, Lee expressed concern about her children potentially watching her drinking scenes. She said, “What if my kids see me and think, ‘I want to try drinking too?’” To this, Shin Dong-yup jokingly replied, “If that’s the case, my kids should already be in juvenile detention.”
Lee firmly added, “At the bottom of the video, there should be a caption saying ‘Teenagers should not drink or overindulge in alcohol.’” Actor Kim Young-kwang then playfully pointed out, “But senior, didn’t our drama involve drug dealing?” drawing laughter with his witty remark.
Meanwhile, Lee Young-ae married businessman Jung Ho-young, 20 years her senior, in 2009. The couple is raising twin children together.
