Lee Soo Hyuk continues to expand his global influence, recently winning the “Most Popular Korean Artist” award after surpassing 800 million cumulative views on his Weibo account.
The actor attended the 2025 Weibo Cultural Exchange Night held in Bangkok, Thailand on August 16, where he represented Korea alongside other international stars including Kep1er, Chinese actors Chen Fei Yu and Shen Yue, and Thai actor Prin Suparat.
Weibo announced that topics related to Lee’s past drama Scholar Who Walks the Night accumulated a staggering 980 million views, while his personal tag alone surpassed 800 million.
During the award acceptance, Lee humbly said, “I’m not sure I deserve this title yet, but thank you so much for this honor. I hope to meet you all more often.”
Lee Soo Hyuk has been enjoying global acclaim. His latest drama S-Line was officially invited to the Cannes International Series Festival, where it also won Korea’s first-ever music award in the long-form competition category.
Next, the actor will hold a solo fan meeting in Hangzhou, China on August 30, further solidifying his international popularity.
