On August 13, Han So-hee shared several photos on her social media, among them an eye-catching sketch she drew herself. The artwork, completed with just a pen, showcased such refined technique that it drew admiration comparable to that of a professional painter.

This isn’t the first time Han’s artistic background has come into the spotlight. In the past, she revealed that she had been accepted into a French art university. However, controversy arose when some questioned the validity of her statement.

During an appearance on Nattering with Nah, Han explained, “I was accepted to a school in France, but in order to get a visa, I needed to have 60 million won in a bank account under my name. Of course, I didn’t have that kind of money at the time, so I couldn’t study abroad.”

Her remark sparked backlash from French exchange students, who argued that the visa requirement she described was inaccurate.

Han later clarified through her social media, saying, “Some parts were edited out and misinterpreted on the variety show. In reality, I needed around 20–30 million won in the bank. But even then, it wasn’t nearly enough to cover housing costs and living expenses abroad. I was working part-time jobs and pouring all my earnings into the study abroad process—it felt like pouring water into a bottomless jar.”

Her agency, 9Ato Entertainment, also issued a statement, confirming, “What the actress shared on the variety program was exactly what she experienced. Her words were true.”

With her latest sketch capturing the admiration of fans, Han So-hee continues to remind the public that her artistry extends beyond acting and onto the canvas.
