JYP Entertainment has quietly removed its global girl group VCHA from its official artist lineup, causing concern and confusion among fans. In addition to disappearing from the agency’s website, all of the group’s social media platforms — including Instagram, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok — have been completely wiped of past content, with profile images turned black.
The abrupt move, done without any prior announcement, has left fans speculating whether the group has been silently disbanded. Some believe this could be the prelude to a rebrand under a new name or concept.
On Reddit, fans are divided. One user wrote, “either a rebrand (OT4 launch) or disband.” Another commented, “If pressed I would lean rebrand since at least one family member has been hinting positively in recent weeks.“
The group currently consists of Camila, Lexi, Kendall, and Savanna, after enduring two significant departures. Former member KG left in December 2024 and filed a lawsuit against JYP USA, citing abuse and mistreatment. More recently, Kaylee exited the group in July 2025 by mutual agreement.
Since KG’s exit, VCHA has been on an indefinite hiatus, and the group has remained entangled in an ongoing legal battle. According to Wikipedia and fan reports, VCHA was omitted from JYP’s ESG report, which still includes other active groups — further evidence that JYP may no longer consider them part of their official roster.
While no formal announcement has been made, the removal of the group from JYP’s website and the blackout of all digital presence point toward a significant shift — whether it’s an official disbandment or a complete reboot under a new identity.
Some fans have pointed out the possibility of a rebrand under the name “Girlset”, which JYP reportedly trademarked, fueling speculation that the remaining members may return under a new concept in the near future.
Following the sudden disappearance of VCHA’s group accounts, fans were quick to notice that each member has now launched their own official solo Instagram accounts. Adding fuel to the speculation, JYP Entertainment has followed all the individual profiles — a move that many believe signals a potential rebrand rather than a disbandment. With no official statement yet, the possibility of a fresh new direction for the group continues to stir curiosity among fans.
