‘Take Charge of My Heart’ is a zippy romantic comedy centered on a man whose artificial heart battery has run out and a woman who possesses mysterious electrical powers. Sparks fly—literally—as they navigate a bizarre and electrifying connection under the guise of “charging”.
Chae Soo-bin will portray Na Bo-bae, a drama writer who must finish a romance script but finds herself ironically powerless when it comes to love. After developing electric currents throughout her body, Bo-bae struggles to even flirt, let alone fall in love. With her warm and down-to-earth charm, Chae Soo-bin is expected to balance romance and comedy effortlessly, delivering a dopamine-fueled performance.
Known as a “chemistry queen”, Chae Soo-bin has built a strong reputation across various projects. In MBC’s “When the Phone Rings”, she starred as Hong Hee-joo, capturing viewers’ hearts with her dynamic relationship arc with Baek Sa-eon (played by Yoo Yeon-seok). The role earned her both the “Excellence Award, Actress in a Miniseries” and “Best Couple Award” at the 2024 MBC Drama Awards.
She also recently starred in the film “Omniscient Reader: The Prophet” as Yoo Sang-ah, demonstrating tight on-screen synergy with her castmates and enhancing the film’s immersion.
