GOT7’s BamBam surprised viewers and fans alike when he showcased his younger sister’s stunning 3-story home in Thailand during the July 23 episode of “Do You Know House Meal” (MBN & MBC Every1). Joining Lee Jang-woo on the final leg of their culinary journey through Thailand, BamBam invited him to visit his sister’s residence, where they prepared a heartfelt Korean-style breakfast together.
Upon arriving at the house, Lee Jang-woo was visibly amazed by its spaciousness and elegance. “Your sister has made it big!” he exclaimed. BamBam proudly clarified that his sister had purchased the house entirely on her own, addressing and dismissing past rumors that he came from a wealthy background in Thailand. “She worked hard and bought this place herself,” he said with admiration.
However, the grandeur of the house contrasted with its nearly empty kitchen — equipped with just a mini rice cooker and a single pot. Undeterred, the two men rolled up their sleeves and managed to cook a full breakfast spread, including red pepper paste stew, bulgogi, and rolled omelets. BamBam, who has shown improved cooking skills throughout the show, confidently took charge of the omelet and joked, “When I get married, I’ll be a perfect husband!”
When his sister finished getting ready for work, she was touched by the meal, complimenting the flavors and eating with enthusiasm. A surprise video call with their mother added warmth to the scene, as she playfully responded to Lee Jang-woo’s compliment about her Angelina Jolie-like lips with a witty, “I’m bare-faced right now—is that a compliment or an insult?”
