Lee Seo-yeon (이서연), born on January 22, 2000, is a South Korean singer best known as a former member of the girl group fromis_9. Known for her soulful voice and expressive tone, she gained recognition as the lead vocalist of the group and later embarked on a solo journey under the hip-hop and R&B label H1GHR MUSIC.

Raised in South Korea, Seo-yeon developed a passion for music at an early age. She attended School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA) where she majored in music, laying the foundation for her artistic career.

In 2017, Seo-yeon participated in Mnet’s survival program “Idol School”, where she placed 7th and subsequently debuted as a member of fromis_9. The group quickly rose to popularity with hits like “We Go”, “DM”, and “Stay This Way”, earning a loyal fanbase for their fresh and energetic concepts. Within the group, Seo-yeon was often responsible for the most memorable “killing parts” thanks to her unique vocal color and strong stage presence.

  1. Seoyeon trained for nearly 8 years specifically 7 years and 9 months starting from the fourth grade at YG Entertainment. During her time there, she was part of a trainee group called “Future 2NE1.”
