The internet was left reeling after a kiss cam video at a Coldplay concert revealed Kristin Cabot, Head of Human Resources at software company Astronomer, sharing a suspiciously intimate moment with CEO Andy Byron. But what truly shocked the public was the revelation that Cabot is already married to another CEO, and the couple recently purchased a home together.
Married… to Another CEO
According to reports from the New York Post, 52-year-old Kristin Cabot whose birth name is Stanek resides in Rye, New Hampshire with her husband Andrew Cabot, the CEO of Privateer Rum, a Massachusetts-based premium spirits brand. Real estate records show that just five months before the concert incident, the couple co-purchased a $2.2 million New England-style home near the Atlantic coast.
Though it’s not confirmed exactly when or where the two were married, Andrew Cabot’s biography on Privateer Rum’s official site identifies him as the company’s CEO and COO, and a direct descendant of 18th-century rum distiller and Revolutionary War privateer Andrew Cabot (1750–1791).
Before her LinkedIn was deleted, Kristin Cabot was listed as an advisory board member for Privateer Rum since September 2020. A circulating photo also shows the couple with two children, further implying a family connection.
Following the viral Coldplay kiss cam video where Chris Martin joked on stage, “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just really shy” Astronomer announced on LinkedIn that an internal investigation had been launched.
Previous Marriage and Silent Reactions
Public records show that Kristin Cabot was previously married to Kenneth Thornby, from whom she filed for divorce in 2018 and finalized it in 2022.
Meanwhile, Andy Byron is also believed to be married to Megan Kerrigan Byron. Following the scandal, Megan reportedly removed her husband’s surname from her social profiles and subsequently locked down her accounts, amid a flood of online commentary.
Neither Kristin Cabot nor Andy Byron has made public statements regarding their relationship. All attempts to reach them have been unsuccessful so far.
