Summary
“My Dearest Nemesis” tells the story of Baek Soo-jung, a “division head killer” team leader, and Ban Joo-yeon, a “third-generation chaebol” division head, as they navigate a workplace romance after their past history is “unsealed”.
Moon Ga-young portrays Baek Soo-jung, a corporate employee who, during high school, unknowingly fell for her online gaming friend Ban Joo-yeon—without realizing that Ban Joo-yeon was actually still in middle school at the time. When the truth was revealed, Baek Soo-jung promptly cut ties with Ban Joo-yeon. However, years later, Ban Joo-yeon reappears in her life as her boss.
Now a powerful boss, Ban Joo-yeon still retains his childish tendencies, including his love for video games, sweet drinks and idols. He struggles to maintain his authoritative image in front of Baek Soo-jung, his former teenage crush and now his new employee.
The drama humorously explores the dynamic between the boss and employee, who often find themselves at odds. However, their undeniable chemistry continues to spark romantic tension.

Episode 5 recorded a 4.9% rating, marking a staggering 119% increase from Episode 4. Furthermore, within just three episodes, “My Dearest Nemesis” set an unprecedented record in tvN’s history, amassing over 62 million views on the network’s social media platforms. This marks the first time a Monday-Tuesday drama on tvN has reached such a milestone. Notably, “My Dearest Nemesis” has even surpassed the 2024 romance sensation “Lovely Runner” despite airing only three episodes.
According to Naver, one of the key elements drawing viewers in is the lead actress, whose goddess-like beauty shines in every frame, complemented by an undeniably stunning figure.
