Jennie got emotional when she heard Maria's family history.

The latest episode of JTBC’s “My Name Is Gabriel,” which aired on October 4th, showed BLACKPINK’s Jennie becoming the owner of a guest house.

Jennie became Maria to help her mother and served food to the guests at the guest house. The guests asked her, “We think we saw you somewhere, on a poster, in my sister’s room.” They even sang “BLACKPINK in your area.” Jennie pretended, “I mean I work here.”

Jennie made a spritz for her guests. Mom (Maria’s mom) immediately called Jennie as she was about to take a break drinking with the guests. Mom told Jennie what to do and said, “Don’t play with boys,” and Jennie said, “Mom, it’s my life.”

After everything was done, Jennie as Maria had dinner with her mom. When asked by her mom, “How was your day?” Jennie vented, “It passed like crazy and fast. 24 hours seemed like an hour.” She added, “And thank you for helping me out a lot today. In a very tough way. Letting me do it on my own.” She responded, “Love is a choice,” and Jennie said, “Today I also felt love is a choice.”

Maria’s house was full of murals, and mom told Jennie about her family history behind the murals. She said, “Maria’s dad had Alzheimer’s disease when she was 5. And I had a stroke when I was 21. I was declared paraplegic.” She confessed, “He was really nice and positive. When we first arrived here, we thought, “What can we do in this countryside?” And then dad started painting at home. You see the colors of the flowers on the wall? They’re so bright. They’re so happy. And I think I’m going to cry if I tell you more about it.” Jennie also choked up, “I think I’m going to cry, too.”

The next day, three hours before her journey ans Maria ended, Jennie looked around the guest house. Especially, Jennie carefully looked at the murals left by Maria’s dad, saying, “I can’t forget the pictures dad drew.” Finally, as she broke up with her mom, Jennie said, “I was truly grateful for the past few days. I’m lucky to have met you,” sharing her last hug.
