In the video, “It is difficult to hold a cooking competition,” he said, referring to the current situation in which the restaurant business is in a recession.

Ahn Yoo-sung expressed his hope, “I hope that the cooking program will be a medium and the restaurant industry will be activated with good results because it is a difficult time for people who run restaurants.”

Chef Ahn Yoo-sung recalled conducting a restaurant mission in the recently released episode 8-10 of “Culinary Class Wars.” For this mission, Ahn left the existing Choi Hyun-suk’s team and formed a new team later. He admitted, “The disadvantage of the latter team was greater.” In response to this, Ahn said, “They said I was like a father,” adding that he felt like he as father was being bullied at work. “Young people seem to be very angry,” he said, adding that he had a good relationship with his team members, but he had a lot of concerns about the rules.

I think people can misunderstand because of the editing,” he said, referring to the “evil editing” that might occur in the program. But he expressed great regret for not being able to properly showcase his strongest side as the “Sushi King.”

Controversy arose over the fairness of the show’s rules. Regarding the fact that they had fewer people and less time than other teams, Chef Ahn Yoo-sung said, “I hope it will be a little fairer. It was a very successful program and a very real and entertainment program, so the production staff did a good job of doing this,” adding, “I feel a little sad if I tell you honestly. As a result, the viewers’ love was greater than that, so it became a blessing in disguise.
