Well-known singer Gilgun has brought to light troubling experiences with her former CEO.
On September 23th, Gilgun shared her story during a YouTube talk show, detailing disturbing incidents involving her former CEO.
Gilgun said, “The CEO operated a karaoke business. He would summon me there every night, insisting I perform for his guests, claiming they were potential investors. I often returned home exhausted at 2 AM, only to have to leave again by 3 AM.”
She also opened up about the difficult circumstances surrounding her contract with the label and how they were exploited against her.
Gilgun confessed, “I agreed to sign under one condition: I made it clear that I would only join if they didn’t pressure me for sexual favors. One night, after a tiring session at the karaoke, I confronted the CEO, asking why he was treating me this way. He replied that at least he wasn’t demanding sexual favors.”
Gilgun debuted in 2004 and is widely recognized for her collaborations with Eun Ji Won.
