On September 12th, a video titled “Everything About the 100% Pure, Harmless, Well-Behaved Youngest | Jae Friends Ep.52 | Tzuyu Jaejoong” was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Jae Friends | ST7.’
In the video, Tzuyu was asked by Kim Jaejoong, “Did you buy a house for your mother with the money you earned from your activities?” to which Tzuyu replied, “I bought a house for my family.”
Tzuyu then mentioned, “Didn’t you also buy a house, oppa (Jaejoong)?” Kim Jaejoong responded, “We’re the same,” and added with a laugh, “Can I come visit your parents’ house? Make sure to tell your parents first.”
Earlier, Taiwanese media outlet TVBS reported in February that Tzuyu purchased a luxury penthouse in her hometown of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, for 100 million Taiwanese dollars (approximately 4.1 billion won).
Meanwhile, Tzuyu debuted in 2015 with TWICE’s first EP “The Story Begins”. On September 6th, she released her first solo mini-album “abouTZU” and is currently promoting the title track “Run Away”.
Tzuyu also discussed her excitement and nervousness about her first solo debut. She revealed that her solo album features a bold new concept, diverging from her usual bright and energetic image with TWICE. Despite the nerves, she expressed confidence in showcasing a different side of herself through this solo project, aiming to offer fans a fresh and personal musical experience.
