On September 11th, a video titled “Minji is so pretty. A general knowledge dictionary completed by Minji’s notes” was uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Harper’s Bazaar Korea. In this video, Minji answered various questions made by the magazine.
First, when as to choose between seeing 10 seconds of the future vs. coming back to 10 seconds in the past, she said, “I don’t think I can change much just because I know 10 seconds of the future. But if I go back to 10 seconds ago, I think I can do something quickly.”
Also, she chose “not tired without sleeping” between “not tired without sleeping” and “not tired without eating.” Minji said, “I love eating so much. I don’t want to be full without eating. When I work, I think there are many times when I need to not get tired even if I don’t sleep. So I will choose the former.”
Next, Minji chose the latter between memorizing the choreography at once vs memorizing the lyrics at once. She said, “This is definitely the choreography one. Because in the year-end awards season, we have to memorize new choreography almost every week. The members memorize all the choreography quickly while I tend to have a burden to memorize. I think it would be great to have that ability (to memorize the choreography at once).”
Lastly, Minji said, “I think my ultimate goal is happiness. I think I should try to do anything to be happy.” She also said, “To be happy, I try to have time for myself at least one day. Doing it every day is difficult, but I try not to miss it. No matter how busy I am, I feel that if I miss it, life becomes meaningless. I am achieving my time and goals not to miss out on that feeling of happiness.”
Meanwhile, NewJeans held a surprise livestream on a newly made YouTube channel on the night of the 11th. During the livestream, the group pointed out that they had been ignored by HYBE’s staff and demanded the return of former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin.
