New CEO of ADOR Reopens Investigation into Sexual Harassment Allegations “Top Priority is Stabilizing the Organization”

According to the music industry on Sep 2nd, CEO Kim sent an email to ADOR employees on the day of her appointment, Aug 27th. In the email, she expressed her intent to frequently meet employees to discuss and share the progress on what is needed for smooth and reasonable operations, as well as how to improve them.

CEO Kim clarified, “In accordance with HYBE’s label operation principle of separating production from management, ADOR will also separate these functions. While Min Hee-jin will step down as CEO, she will continue to serve as an internal director at ADOR and will remain responsible for producing NewJeans.”

She added, “Inevitably, changes will accompany the process of organizing and adjusting current issues. However, these changes aim to support the growth and development of ADOR’s employees and artists. I will focus on successfully continuing NewJeans’ activities with the dedicated ADOR employees who have fulfilled their roles diligently even under challenging circumstances.”

Regarding the allegations of workplace sexual harassment and bullying, as well as attempts to cover up the incident, a reinvestigation will be conducted to uncover the truth and establish measures to prevent recurrence.

Previously, a former employee (referred to as “B”) claimed to have been sexually harassed and bullied by an executive (“A”) during their tenure at ADOR, and accused former CEO Min Hee-jin of unfairly intervening in the investigation process. B has currently left ADOR.

In addition, B has recently filed a complaint with the police against former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, accusing her of defamation and violating the Personal Information Protection Act following a public dispute between the two.
