Recently, the official channel released the content titled “The Birth of nævis.”
This video captures nævis’s transition from the digital world (Wilderness) to the real world, depicting the first chapter of her story. It vividly portrays nævis’s transformation from a digital entity into a physical being. The Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos versions are available on LG U+ IPTV service U+tv, offering an enhanced immersive experience.
The video not only previews nævis’s potential as an artist but also hints at a diverse IP universe based on a grand narrative that spans both the real world and the digital world (Wilderness). There is high anticipation for her activities, which will officially commence after her debut in September.
nævis, introduced by the SM Virtual IP Center, was a character who served as an ally to the four members of aespa in their universe story. She previously featured in aespa’s third mini-album track “Welcome To MY World” and left a strong impression with her performance at aespa’s second solo concert, “2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : PARALLEL LINE –.”
In addition to her vivid depiction through Giantstep’s hyper-real VFX technology, nævis will be active in various forms such as toon style and casual 3D, adapting flexibly to different platforms. Plans are in place to expand the IP universe through music, webtoons, games, merchandise, and brand collaborations, with her voice implemented through AI voice technology and content produced via generative AI.
