On August 17th, the Instagram account izitmag uploaded a post titled, “Which celebrities are likely to enlist soon?”, drawing attention.
Reporting that SEVENTEN’s Jeonghan will enlist in the second half of this year, the magazine made a list of male idols and actors who will possibly join the army in 2025. The list includes 3 SEVENTEEN members (Wonwoo, Hoshi, Woozi), NCT’s Doyoung, Kang Daniel and actor Kim Young-dae.
In fact, all of them were born in 1996, and 2025 is the right time for them to enlist.
Noticing that 4 SEVENTEEN members will be serving in the military by next year, fans are expressing regrets in the comment section, such as “SEVENTEEN… Don’t go…”, “It’s almost half of SEVENTEEN… Can they not send them there?”, “Wonwoo, Woozi, where are you guys going?”. NCT fans and Kang Daniel’s fans are also upset.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN’s agency Pledis Entertainment recently announced that member Jeonghan would enlist at the end of this year. However, the official enlistment date is still undecided.
