Lee Joon visited Thunder’s newlywed house on MBC’s “Omniscient Interfering View” broadcast on August 17th.
On the show, Lee Joon revealed that he didn’t know Sandara Park was Thunder’s sister in the early days of their debut as MBLAQ. Recalling the past, Lee Joon said, “Thunder did tell us about his sister. Sandara Park debuted when we were still trainees. I said, ‘Isn’t Sandara Park pretty?’ and he showed a serious expression”, adding “A few days later, there were articles saying ‘Sandara Park’s younger brother is Thunder’, so I thought, ‘I can’t become her fan”.
Lee Joon then shared, “She gave me some cash in the Philippines”. Recently, Lee Joon, Sandara Park went on a trip to the Philippines with couple Thunder and Mimi. As such, some people raised dating rumors about Sandara Park and Lee Joon.
Mimi said, “But after going there, Thunder and I said ‘The two look so good together’ as we went inside our accommodation”. Sandara Park confessed, “What’s interesting is that people around me began to compliment him after dating rumors spread”.
Lee Joon also added, “That happened to me, too. Many said we looked good together”. He also revealed how Sandara Park helped him with the money during the trip to the Philippines.
Later, Sandara Park mentioned Thunder’s wedding and thanked Lee Joon, “I was very worried that my brother had only his mom and sister, but Lee Joon arrived even before the host and waited for us. I felt so reassured.”
Thunder surprised everyone when he said, “And Lee Joon took my mom there that day”. Lee Joon humbly said, “I’ve known his mom for a long time”. Thunder added, “Whenever I want to introduce someone I know, I would immediately think of Lee Joon first”.
When Lee Joon and Sandara Park made a bet about who would get married first, Thunder said, “I’ll send the first one to get married to the Maldives. But no fake marriages are allowed. The condition is that you don’t divorce within 10 years.”
Sandara Park praised Lee Joon, saying “He’s very careful with things that should not be wasted, but he’s very generous when he needs to spend money. He’s such a husband material”.
