On August 15th, the YouTube content “Dex’s Fridge Interview” uploaded a new episode featuring the guest appearance of actress and Girls’ Day member Hyeri.
During their conversation, they talked about Hyeri’s legendary aegyo when she appeared on MBC’s variety show “Real Men” in 2014. Back then, Hyeri burst into tears while greeting the instructors before leaving the training camp. In a short moment, she suddenly made the sound “Hing~” in a cute way. Unexpectedly, the scene became viral on the Internet.
Dex mentioned Hyeri’s aegyo scene and imitated it, drawing laughter. He commented, “When I saw that, I thought Hyeri must be very cute”.
Hyeri then said, “But I had no idea people would think I was cute. I was actually annoyed at the time”. Dex said, “I think you were really emotional, but they spoke so sternly”
She further explained, “‘It’s the last thing, why are they still being like this?’. That’s what I was feeling”, adding “But I couldn’t say anything, so… I just wanted to say goodbye. That’s was my thought but I couldn’t really say anything. ‘I don’t want this anymore’. That’s kind of what it was”.
