Red Velvet’s Seulgi & BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Mentions Their First Meeting, “In The Toilet During Award Show”

On August 16th, Red Velvet Seulgi’s YouTube channel uploaded a new video featuring the guest appearance of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo.

Seulgi recalled the first time they met, saying “When was the first time we met each other? We were in the toilet at Gocheok Sky Dome”. She added, “Lisa was next to you”. Jisoo shared, “So she was like, ‘Me too! I like you as well’”.

Seulgi smiled and said, “I was surprised because I am from SM and you are from YG so I thought we could not get close to each other. I was just standing there and you greeted me so brightly.” Jisoo also shared, “Our activities did overlap, so we met in the waiting room. We laid out a mat in the waiting room.”

In addition, Seulgi talked about when Jisoo visited SM building in the past and joined her dance practice. Jisoo also mentioned when she worked as an MC for SBS’s “Inkigayo” together with GOT7’s Jinyoung and NCT’s Doyoung, emphasizing that she was disappointed because they never went to SM.

The two also compared differences between the practice rooms of SM and YG. Jisoo commented, “Our practice rooms were always in the basement so they were dark and had a gloomy vibe. At SM, they practice while looking down from above ground.”
