On August 15th, Felix released an official statement, saying “First of all, I apologize to everyone, including fans, who must have been disappointed by my careless behavior. Earlier this morning, I mentioned a Japanese song while talking about short-form challenges with fans through a personal communication platform. I sincerely apologize for not being careful and lack of caution on the meaningful Liberation Day”.
Felix continued, “I deeply reflect on my lack of historical awareness. I will try to study more, think more carefully and act responsibly in areas where I lack so that this won’t happen again. I would like to apologize once again”.
Earlier, Felix mentioned a Japanese animation song challenge earlier on Liberation Day. As such, many people pointed out that Felix’s action was inappropriate on Liberation Day.
