On August 13th, Yonhap News TV exclusively released the CCTV footage of Suga driving an electric scooter while intoxicated. The video showed Suga gliding from the south to the north while riding an electric scooter on the street of Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at 11:10 p.m. on August 6th.

In particular, Suga hit a boundary stone and fell while driving on the sidewalk in an electric scooter. After a while, police patrol members found Suga and asked a nearby police station for support. In less than 10 minutes, a patrol car arrived at the scene, and a breathalyzer test was conducted.
According to the result of the breathalyzer test, Suga’s blood alcohol level was 0.227%, proving that he was drunk. The figure is far higher than the criterion for revocation of his license of 0.08%. If the blood alcohol level exceeds 0.2%, the punishment will be aggravated, and if convicted, the punishment will be heavy, with imprisonment for more than two years and up to five years or a fine of 20 million won.
Suga is said to have told the police, “I drank a glass of beer and then only drove for a while.” The police returned him home after measuring the alcohol consumption without properly investigating Suga because he was drunk at the time, and did not confiscate the electric scooter that Suga drove.
Police have completed confirmation of Suga’s final travel distance and route and are coordinating the schedule for a summons investigation.
