SEVENTEEN Ranks First in August Boy Group Brand Reputation, Followed by BTS in Second and Stray Kids in Third

According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, the big data analysis for boy group brand reputation in August 2024 revealed that SEVENTEEN ranked first, followed by BTS in second place and Stray Kids in third.

The brand reputation index is a metric created through the analysis of brand big data, identifying that consumers’ online habits significantly influence brand consumption. The analysis of boy group brand reputation measures positive and negative evaluations of the groups, media attention, consumer interest, and communication volume. The recommendation data from consumers participating in brand reputation surveys is also included as a weighted factor.

The top 30 boy group brand reputation rankings for August 2024 are as follows: SEVENTEEN, BTS, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, TO1, SHINee, NCT, RIIZE, THE BOYZ, Super Junior, WINNER, ZEROBASEONE, EXO, TREASURE, BOYNEXTDOOR, TXT, MONSTA X, ASTRO, ATEEZ, ONF, INFINITE, 2PM, Wanna One, Highlight, TVXQ, VIXX, GOT7, CRAVITY, BTOB, and PENTAGON.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, commented, “In the big data analysis for August 2024, SEVENTEEN, which ranked first, showed high scores in link analysis with keywords such as ‘release,’ ‘retake,’ and ‘donate.’ In keyword analysis, ‘Carat,’ ‘unit,’ and ‘world tour’ were prominent. The positive ratio in the positive-negative analysis was 90.94%. In a detailed analysis of SEVENTEEN’s brand reputation, brand consumption decreased by 1.08%, brand issues decreased by 3.36%, brand communication increased by 154.02%, and brand diffusion increased by 9.90%.”

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is set to hold their world tour ‘SEVENTEEN [Right Here] World Tour’ in five U.S. cities and four Japanese cities from October to December. The tour will kick off at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on October 12-13, followed by stops in the U.S. and Japan.
