ADOR Sexual Harassment Victim Exposed Min Hee-jin’s Lies, “She Protected The Perpetrator & Insulted Me”

A person claimed to be the victim of ADOR’s sexual harassment and exposed CEO Min Hee-jin of lying to the public

On August 8th, a person claimed to be ADOR’s employee B in the recent sexual harassment case related to CEO Min Hee-jin and released a long post on Instagram, saying “Hello. This is B, the female employee mentioned by CEO Min Hee-jin in the statement she posted on Instagram on July 31st”.

B said, “Just like what CEO Min said in her Kakaotalk with executive A, that’s right, I’m just an office worker and an ordinary person without much courage”. She added, “Since she’s a star producer with decades of experience in the entertainment industry and a CEO who can handle the media skillfully, it would be crazy for me, a small employee, to think about confronting her. I’m still very scared right now when writing this”.

Regarding the reason she wrote this post to expose CEO Min Hee-jin, B shared, “However, I couldn’t tolerate it any longer as CEO Min protected only perpetrator A, verbally abused other employees working under her, and disclosed a former employee’s Kakaotalk messages without asking for my prior consent. She made false claims, such as she was neutral as a CEO in the issue and I wasn’t the target of her insults and edited the Kakaotalk conversation. I could no longer stay silent after seeing her repeated lies”.

B continued, “As I have been left with nothing but scars without any protection from either company or the media, this post may be a bit long because I’ll try to explain the facts and resolve misunderstandings and unfairness. It may also be somewhat disorganized as it covers various issues, but I would appreciate it so much if you could read it until the end.”

B revealed that the conflict between HYBE and ADOR occurred after she left the company, but she was suspected and investigated by HYBE just because she was an ADOR employee. B also mentioned receiving questions from the media regarding the sexual harassment issues but she refused to answer. However, B was very shocked when Dispatch disclosed the whole story of the incident. B said, “I used to be a fan of CEO Min and I spent hundreds of thousands of won at Weverse NewJeans Shop. After leaving the company, I sent hundreds of messages to her politely and affectionately via Kakaotalk for the sake of ADOR, but my heart and efforts were trampled on and deceived”.

B added, “CEO Min said no one should suffer distortion of the truth, but she not only made false claims but also used the content of her private Kakaotalk conversation with a former employee for her own benefit”.

B reportedly expressed her intention to quit the job on March 2nd after suffering A’s sexual harassment, bullying at work, and unfair treatment. She complained about her unfairness to the company on the 6th and left the company on the 16th. B claimed that A had caused similar problems before. B said that HYBE concluded that A’s actions were not severe enough for discipline but they did find A’s behaviors inappropriate and suggested that CEO Min issues a warning to A. However, Min Hee-jin rejected the suggestion, defended A and insulted B instead.

B insisted that Min Hee-jin’s explanation was not true. She pointed out, “CEO Min, who has criticized acts such as editing, distortion, and the unauthorized distribution of KakaoTalk messages, did exactly the same thing. She lied to the public by claiming that the abusive messages mentioned in the Dispatch article were directed at someone else, not me, and by manipulating the context of my resignation”.

B also criticized CEO Min for disclosing her Kakaotalk conversation with A without further explanation. During the investigation of sexual harassment and harassment at the workplace, CEO Min pressured her by “using her position to make all effort to invalidate my reports”.

Lastly, B requested a sincere apology from CEO Min and A. She added, “I hope they miss the point as they did last time. Please correct the misinformation in detail. If you continue to claim that what I said was false, I will take steps to clarify the truth”. B also disclosed the Kakaotalk conversation she had with A. 

Attention is focused on whether CEO Min will release any position regarding B’s argument.
