On the afternoon of the 3rd, a Coupang Play Series match between Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich took place at Seoul World Cup Stadium. NewJeans took commemorative photos with Tottenham’s Son Heung-min and Munich’s Kim Min-jae.
NewJeans not only participated in the opening kick-off but also performed during halftime. They energized the stadium with performances of their debut song “Attention,” followed by “Hype Boy,” “ETA,” and “Super Shy.” Member Hanni even prepared a performance reminiscent of Kim Min-jae’s jersey number “4” and Son Heung-min’s number “7,” along with a camera-clicking ceremony.
After the match, NewJeans shared photos with Son Heung-min and Kim Min-jae on their official social media. Reflecting on the experience, they wrote, “Wow~~!!!! We can’t believe we did the opening kick-off and performed in front of so many fans and amazing players…!! We were a bit nervous, but doing it together made us really happy!!”

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich won the match against Tottenham Hotspur with a score of 2-1.
