Jung Young-joo Reveals Byun Woo-seok’s Worries, “Getting Burnout While Filming ‘Lovely Runner’?”
Actress Jung Young-joo picked actor Byun Woo-seok as her favorite son-in-law and reveal their counseling conversations
On July 15th, Jung Young-joo appeared on SBS’s entertainment program “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny”.
Actress Jung Young-joo, who has been active for 31 years, appeared in “Lovely Runner” as Sol’s mother. As Jung Young-joo has played many mother roles, the MCs asked her to pick her favorite son-in-law among her on-screen son-in-laws Cha Eun-woo, Ahn Hyo-seop, and Byun Woo-seok.
In response, the actress picked Byun Woo-seok and said, “The most recent one, son-in-law Byun”.
Regarding Byun Woo-seok, Jung Young-joo said, “He called me ‘senior’ when we worked, but switched to ‘mom’ when talking privately”, revealing their comfortable conversations.
When asked about the kinds of conversation they often exchanged, Jung Young-joo said, “Actors often get burnouts while acting, right?”, adding “Byun Woo-seok was worried about staying still. He doubted his ability and confessed that he didn’t know if he was doing well”.
Later, “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2” showed the daily life of actor Ahn Se-ha and his wife Jeon Eun-ji. In fact, Jeon Eun-ji also suffered from ‘Byun Woo-seok’s disease’ after watching “Lovely Runner”. The panelists said, “What’s more surprising is that Seon-jae (Byun Woo-seok” and Ahn Se-ha are five years apart”. Byun Woo-seok was born in 1991 and Ahn Se-ha was born in 1986. Lee Ji-hye commented, “I was very surprised. I thought he was my age”.
