While this debut of Jennie ended up drawing mixed reactions, the fact that she managed such a feat alone is impressive. Adding to it, Jennie’s catwalk was actually quite hardcore due to 2 particular reasons.
To start with, the heels worn by Jennie were a pink and zebra-patterned version of the “Les doubles Sandales”. This particular pair of shoes has an extremely tall heel, and is made in a peculiar way in that it appears to have “double heels”, making the shoes extremely hard to wear.
In addition, the Jacquemus fashion show closed by Jennie was held on an extremely challenging venue – a steep stairway up the Capri mountains.
This flight of stairs was even in the shape of a triangle that narrows on the way down, without any bars or handles making Jennie’s catwalk extremely difficult to tackle.
In fact, from footage of the Jacquemus show, it’s not far-fetched to say that Jennie’s trip even looked dangerous.
It seems that despite taking on the role of a runway model for the first time, Jennie managed to finish a “hardcore” course, making her even more impressive.
