On this broadcast, storyteller Seol Min Seok says, “I’ll tell you the story about immortal love that overcomes death”, gathering everyone’s attention and revealing the story of “demigod” Orpheus.

He continued, “Orpheus fell in love with a nymph named Eurydice. The two swore to die together on the same day and at the same time. However, on their wedding day, Eurydice was bitten by a viper and died. Orpheus then decided to go to the underworld to save his wife”,

Accordingly, Orpheus later met Hades, the god of the dead and the king of the Underworld. Orpheus drew admiration from Hades and was able to bring Eurydice back. However, their love story still had a tragic ending. After telling the sad story, Seol Min Seok suddenly asks, “What would you do if you were Orpheus, Kim Jong Min?”. Kim Jong Min says, “The living one should live well because we’ll meet again someday…”, drawing laughter with his realistic answer.

Regarding Orpheus’s determination to go to the Underworld to save his wife, who passed away first, Han Ga In shows an expression with sweet eyes and says, “All the male characters today are my style. Hades and Orpheus, they are all pure-hearted men”.

Han Ga In then asks, “Hades told Orpheus to not look back as a condition. Is this a symbol or something?”. In response, Professor Kim Heon and others express their opinions and make each other think about the meanings and lessons from the myth. The official broadcast will air at 9:40 p.m on November 12th.
